One Great Day in so many ways!

Yesterday, in Marlborough, MA, it was just glorious in so many ways.
First, as a vendor, I attended the highlight event of the 2026 SPAAMFAA (Society for the Preservation & Appreciation of Antique Motor Fire Apparatus in America) Summer Conference, the National Muster hosted by the Massachusetts MAFAA. There were dozens of incredibly maintained pieces of antique fire apparatus of several makes, models, and ages--simply amazing to see. Take a look at the video I included.
The show was not to be outdone by the perfect New England weather--pure sunshine, mid-70s, very low humidity. A top ten day.
To add to the spectacularity of the event and the day, was the people from both near and far. I relished speaking with old friends and making new acquaintances. It was so much fun catching up and learning some new connections that some had to the events contained in my true crime books.
Many folks had already read BURN BOSTON BURN and then purchased BANG BOOM BURN and FLAMES OF SECRECY. Some parents grabbed my children's book, MYSTERY OF THE MISSING MOON. One gentleman even bought one for his automotive repair shop waiting room! A great day indeed.
