As a person who loves solving puzzles, Wayne Miller was a Special Agent, Criminal Investigator and Certified Fire Investigator for the ATF in Boston for 25 years. He worked numerous high profile illegal firearms, bombing and arson cases.

During his public and 18-year private career, he examined more than 2,300 fire and explosion scenes. In August 2019, he published his first book Burn Boston Burn, followed in 2021 with Bang Boom Burn.
