What a great day and time for all at the June cook-out held at their Congress Street headquarters within the Boston Fire Museum! The chefs did a great job with burgers and dogs (they use a secret ingredient on the dogs that make them more delicious than usual; you will have to catch up to me to learn what that ingredient is).
The BSA has been my biggest supporter throughout my book project. I really appreciate all of their friendship and hospitality. During a side business meeting, the BSA solidified some of their plans for the September 9 dinner where I will unveil my book at a speaking engagement. All are welcome to attend. Nat Whittemore has asked a handful of interested people to review my introduction and first two 2 chapters. Their responses and reviews have been so overwhelmingly good that I feel humbled and excited by what they wrote.
